Mission Virginia Ability is a business-to-business (B2B) association focused on increasing workforce and marketplace diversity through the inclusion of individuals with disabilities. Vision Virginia Ability helps businesses diversify and improve their workforce, enhance their shareholder value, and provide benefits to the communities in which they do business. Goal The goal of Virginia Ability is to assist businesses in providing solutions for increasing workforce and marketplace diversity by including people with disabilities. History The Virginia Business Leadership Network was established in 1994 as a branch of the US Business Leadership Network through the President’s Committee on the Employment of People With Disabilities. In July of 2019 we underwent our first major re-branding initiative with the intention of developing a new, differentiated identity. However, our core mission remains the same – to assist businesses in providing solutions for increasing workforce and workplace diversity by including people with disabilities.
