Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. Rotaractors have access to the many resources of Rotary International (RI) and The Rotary Foundation. Rotary International provides the administrative support that helps Rotaract clubs thrive. The Rotaract program has developed into a strong, international network of 7,300 clubs in more than 150 countries and geographical areas. Rotaract’s 145,000 members are young men and women (ages 18 to 30) who serve the needs of their communities, widen their personal and professional contacts, and increase their understanding of the world. Rotaract is neither politically nor religiously affiliated. Rotaract clubs organize a variety of projects and activities, depending primarily on the interests of the club members. However, within the Rotaract program, all clubs undertake three types of activities in varying degrees: professional development, leadership development, and service. Rotaract Club of RVCE is one of the most oldest and dynamic clubs in R.V College of Engineering. Its an institution based Rotaract club under Rotary International District 3190 and our sponsor Rotary Club is Rotary Bangalore South. We are a group of enthusiastic individuals who strive ahead for bringing about a positive change in our society. Our Mottos are as follows: 1. To develop professional skills in an individual. 2. To inculcate leadership skills, through leading events and organizing of large scale projects within or outside the college. 3. To realize the innate talent and ability residing in every individual and help him/her come to terms with the full range of his potential. 4. To recognize, practice and promote ethical standards as management qualities and vocational responsibilities. 5. To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill to all people. Every year we organize many events like Paper drive, Blood donation Camp (BDC), RYLA, Orphanage visit, and so on.
