The Center for Mind and Culture (CMAC) is a non-partisan research organization deploying an international network of scholars and scientists to study complex social problems. We focus on the “mind-culture nexus,” where thought, emotion, and identity come into conflict with socioeconomic and historic realities. Our researchers use data analytics, policy simulations, agent-based modeling, computational social science, and other high-tech methods in a radically interdisciplinary and collaborative environment to generate solutions for urgent social problems.
