The Academy for Prosocial Learning (APL) was founded to answer the demand for humane and prosocial education grounded in educational theory. APL oversees the Certified Humane Education Specialist credentialing program and the international Humane Educator Registry. Academy staff offer clients a wide range of courses and consulting services for school districts, sheltering professionals and volunteers, and formal and informal educators looking to grow in the area of humane and prosocial education and social and emotional learning.
