Activate Perth is a not for profit incorporated association. It's mission is to create community connection in the City of Perth by facilitating novel partnerships and projects between business, the community and government. It's primary objectives are: 1. To promote the interests of the local community of Perth by facilitating activation projects and partnerships that make it a more vibrant place to live, work and play. 2. To promote, facilitate and deliver innovative partnerships between the private sector and creative industry to activate the City of Perth. 3. To celebrate Indigenous culture and the history of our city to create a sense of community and place throughout the City of Perth. During 2018, Activate Perth will establish Renew Perth; a program to provide rent-free retail and office space to start-ups and community groups. We will also promote and facilitate the marketing of Perth as a city of neighbourhoods led by community precinct organisations. An Activation Army has also been established for residents, building owners, students and city workers to work together to improve the human experience in our city.
