Our company, HollandPlug International BV (HollandBioProducts) is a Dutch SME founded in Nijmegen, Netherlands in April of 2017, with the sole purpose of developing sustainable substrates from a organic fiber (jute) in combination with our patented pioneering water storage bio-fakes, enabling a fully flexible final plug product of optimised moisture and air balance, for crops and/or flowers to grow inside. HollandBioProducts offer a 100% compostable organic fiber based substrate for tray, soil and water cultivation with unique water controlling capacities. HollandBioProducts uses a pioneering patented production technology that integrates super absorbing flakes and jute. As there is no other existing company using a similar technology, to improve plant quality and increasing water retention capacity of the plug we consider being unique in our final offering.
