We are made up of a consortium of over 60 UK-based firms, and offer in-house training for new recruits as well as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for experienced accountants. We also provide compliance services to our members, covering audit, financial reporting, practice management and related issues to ensure they are delivering fully compliant services to their clients and regulators. Our clients range from the smallest firms with one or two audit clients to members of the Accountancy Age Top 50 + 50, including Simmons Gainsford LLP, PKF Littlejohn LLP and Frank Hirth plc. The HAT Group was established in 1975 to offer professional services to accountancy firms across the UK. Our founding principles to provide professional, personal support to accountancy firms remain at the core of our services today. Over the past four decades, we’ve continued to grow and develop the services and support we give firms who face ever increasing and changing regulation. We analyse and assess relevant changes and provide both members and non-members with the necessary training and support to run their business. This allows firms to focus on the important matter of servicing their clients. We are a member of the ICAEW Practice Assurance Scheme and are an ACCA approved training consortium. Our technical team are all members of the ICAEW, and some also hold membership of the ACCA and ICAS. Our small, friendly team works from our offices in Central London.
