The Museum of Drugs
www.museumofdrugs.comThe Museum of Drugs was established in 2008 is a Registered Charity (1181946). The Museum is an internationally recognised leading authority on the history of substance use. Home to a diverse collection of historical artefacts, the Museum of Drugs charts our relationship with drugs. It is a story of human relations with psychoactive substances from their role in evolutionary survival and development through to prohibition and war. Today there are more black people incarcerated in US prisons as a result of drug offences than there were slaves at the start of the Civil War. Globally inconsistent legislation continues to adversely impact on lives at every stage of the production, supply and use chain, and the services that exist to help.
