Adding value and quality in the fields of sports turfgrass, urban green areas and precision farming. Turf Europe is a Spinoff of the University of Pisa (University of Pisa owns 10% of the Company) and specializes in general Precision Farming and supplies highly specialized consultancy and research and development for companies involved in the green area industry. Our work is based on the solid scientific background gained by our staff through years of study and research at top Italian Universities (Pisa, Sant'Anna, Milan) We provide Consultancy and Research & Development in all areas of (1) urban green areas (sports, ornamental, environmental) and (2) precision farming. Our work also involves field test validation of private company’s products which are willing to be accredited by specialized centres. The goal of the services and activities of Turf Europe is the obtainment of high-quality, environmentally sustainable and economically viable urban green areas and crops. These include several types of urban green areas: sports (football, golf, rugby, baseball, etc.), ornamental (parks and gardens), functional (roundabouts, corporate green areas) and environmental (industrial areas, slopes and river banks, etc.). Their Precision Farming experience has been accumulated through Precision Farming-related EU Projects and through day-to-day consulting activities in large Stadiums.
