After serving 10 years as an Army Audiologist and achieving the rank of Major, Steven W. Morris, MS, CCC-A, FAAA founded Acadian Hearing & Speech Services in 1986 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Bridget Garrido, Au.D., CCC-A joined the team in 1994 and Heidi Sorrells, Au.D., CCC-A in 2008. Complete audiological evaluations can be conducted from birth to adult populations. Audiological testing includes complete diagnostic audiometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluations, as well as, middle ear studies (tympanometry and acoustic reflexes). Complete vestibular and balance evaluations are conducted with an infrared goggle system and vestibular rehabilitation and canalith repositioning therapies are available for those applicable patients.
