Harvard-trained Dr. Dan formulated Wellbel in 2020 after his two sisters, Dalia and Diana, came to him looking for a hair, skin, and nail supplement recommendation. Dalia, a board-certified dermatology PA with PCOS, was dealing with hormonal imbalances while Diana, an integrative health coach, was struggling with stress-related alopecia areata. Both tried a number of supplements and lifestyle changes, but neither saw results. As a triple board-certified physician, Dr. Dan observed how many supplements on the shelves contained unnecessary, harmful, and incorrectly dosed ingredients, like an excess of biotin, which can cause, not prevent, breakouts. Without a clean, vegan hair, skin, and nail solution to recommend, Dr. Dan developed his own formula backed by science and grounded in wellness. Today, we provide natural support for men and women of all hair types and textures, from 1A to 4C.
