The group’s aim is to offer its collective experience to; transport operators, card issuers and product issuers, as to how they can best achieve seamless interoperable ticketing by avoiding fragmentation of the market with incompatible smart ticketing solutions across different transport modes / regions. The Group operates according to Chatham House rules to develop a broad range of proposals; based on open standards, industry specifications and experience, that addresses the needs of the transport operators for interoperable ticketing.
