Shaping communities for a better future. Founded during 2019, Humber Aid has focused its resources on working hard within the Humber Region to provide relief to those in need. They exist for those who are wanting to make a positive difference in their communities. We have a heritage and background of helping those in need, Humberside Fire & Rescue Service (HFRS) and community interest company HFR Solutions CIC, share the vision of making the local region a safer place to live and work. By joining forces with these organisations, the charity aims to further support the community. HFR Solutions supports Humber Aid for the relief of those in need of such assistance as deemed appropriate. The Humber Aid vision is to shape communities for a better future. Humber Aid supports a diverse group of communities, which include, but aren’t limited to: • The younger and older generations • People suffering from ill-health, financial hardship • Disadvantaged communities • Charitable organisations • Non-profit making community groups We are privileged and extremely proud of the community investment and projects we support, knowing our involvement helps to make a real difference to communities in the Humber region and beyond who welcome our support and need it. We support initiatives throughout the regions of East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire, and North East Lincolnshire. From delivering AED & CPR training to Hey Smiles Foundation & CAEDY, providing Preston Road Women's Centre with fire marshal training, delivering experience days to year 6 pupils from a primary school in North East Lincolnshire to the installation of a AED & cabinet at Barton's Viking Centre. This support can be delivered in many ways such as financial, training and the allocation of resource and time.
