The Christian Herald (TCH) is a monthly news publication that targets the African and African American communities in the Houston, Austin, and the Dallas metropolitan areas – Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Plano, Richardson and Mesquite. With a publication of 5,000 hard copies, about 4,500 electronic copies and a readership of about 25,000 to 30,000 per month, The Christian Herald is a strong means through which advertisers and those seeking to do business with this community can reach their target audience. With the introduction of an online version of the newspaper (www.christianheraldonline.com), many thousands more, from a wider geographical location and demographics, now have access to the newspaper. The newspaper seeks to appeal to every generation within the Christian community. Its articles and features range from children’s pages and Bible study columns, to the youth patrol, and adult issues and profiles. Serving as a means whereby Christians can showcase their events, programs, and ministries, the Christian Herald is the community’s information resource publication. We believe that anyone who seeks to reach the large African/ African American community can do so through the Christian Herald. By making it free to the public the newspaper can get into a greater number of hands and homes. We welcome articles and suggestions that will help meet this goal. The Christian Herald is funded by advertisements, featured events, profiles and donations.
