Friendly House is a non-profit neighborhood center and social service agency in Portland that creates a thriving community by connecting people of all ages and backgrounds through quality educational, recreational and other life-sustaining services. At Friendly House all people, no matter their income, age or background, can come together and engage with their community. For Children, our programs include Preschool, After School, and Summer Camps. Friendly House Community Services offers support services and activities for low income older adults and includes SAGE Metro Portland, a program specifically addressing the needs of LGBT seniors. Community Recreation and Education offerings include classes, lectures, and activities as well as memberships for use of the gym, fitness room, showers, and computer center.
