The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), originally the University of Economics, Prague, is the leading university in the fields of economics, finance, business and management in the Czech Republic. VŠE offers a broad spectrum of bachelor´s, master´s and doctoral programmes as well as other courses not only in Czech but also in foreign languages. Education at six faculties of the Prague University of Economics and Business - Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of International Relations, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Management - is in compliance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The number of students currently enrolled is approximately 14,000. The university places a high priority on internationalization and cooperates with more than 250 universities worldwide. VŠE is also a member of numerous international organizations and networks, e.g. CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education), PIM (The Partnership in International Management) and AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The Faculty of Business Administration is EQUIS accredited, which ranks the faculty among the top 1% of business schools in the world.
