In October 2020, Encina Capital Partners, LLC and an affiliate of certain funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. together announced the launch of Encina Lender Finance, LLC, a new independent lender finance platform targeting commercial and consumer specialty finance companies in the U.S. and Canada. Headquartered in Atlanta, Encina Lender Finance offers revolving lines of credit and term loans ranging in size from $10 - $50 million to emerging and established specialty finance companies (sponsor and non-sponsor backed) across a wide range of asset classes including, but not limited to, asset-based lending, factoring, equipment leasing, private credit (including venture debt), consumer lending, merchant direct (point of sale) and skills training finance.
