The Girls Leadership Network was founded in 2017 by Ritu Clementi and her daughter Asha in Canberra, Australia. The program was conceptualised to provide senior high school girls with inspiration, guidance and skills for any and all of their aspirations - something that was not provided at the time in the ACT. In 2019, the Republic of Finland awarded The Girls Leadership Network with the prestigious ‘Han Honour’ which highlights important equality related work done around the world. We are the 17th global recipient and the 1st in Australia.  After three successful years inspiring young women across the ACT and Queanbeyan, TGLN is establishing itself in Sydney for 2020.
