New York is the first major U.S. city to have aligned its master planning with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs]. We are forming cross-sector coalitions and consortia to develop SDG-aligned innovation hubs adjacent to transit stops across the city and pass an amendment to the Zoning Resolution to harness the potential of new real estate development to fund capital improvements to the city's economic, environmental, social, and cultural infrastructure.
