Our vision is to establish the UK as the global leader in digital engineering. We strive to maximise the productivity of the product creation process of our partners, through the adoption of advanced digital capabilities. Focussing initially on Product Engineering in the Automotive sector, we are responsible for leading the delivery of the Automotive Council Digital Roadmap in Engineering. We operate as a ‘virtual’ Institute, enabling and activating a national portfolio of industry relevant projects developing digital solutions to real UK competitive inhibitors. We are funded by the Department for Business, Environment & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and an intrinsic part of the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) Digital Engineering Spoke and Loughborough University.
