One generation to the next, Turkoi has become our family legacy over the past several centuries. One’s humble beginnings, my father, with his own love for our product flourished into the passion we all share today. Many of times, the simplest things tend to be the rarest in this day and age. As our family of educators set out on a voyage cross country, pride was carefully taken while collecting each piece from different Native American artists . What was witnessed was an endangered culture with a threat much bigger than one could imagine. An essential part to stopping the past from repeating itself is sharing this vital information with our youth if while striving for education geared towards continuous change and most importantly equality. Turkoi’s ancestors sought to bring unity to both cultures in hope of recovering from a tragic past.
