Tommaso Barni, Tommaso Brilli, Anna Pescarolo, Giovanni Santini e Francesco Stolzuoli, are professional trained in outstanding architectural offices, like Taller de Arquitectura of Ricardo Bofill, Diaz y Quero Asociados, Massimiliano Fuksas, Natalini Architetti and Arata Isozaki. The office is dealing with the architectural design in all its scales, from architectural and interior design to urban design, public spaces and landscaping, Map architetti has realised projects for public and private clients and participated in national and international competitions, receiving awards and recommendations, investigating themes related to buildings for culture, public spaces, schools and housing. Some of the works of the office are rewarded in competitions, displayed on art and architecture shows and published on architecture reviews. The office’s members undertake teaching activities at the University of Florence and also partecipate in international designing workshops. Some of the most important projects include: the entrance and bookshop of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, the Italian Pavilion for the X Ningbo International Fashion Fair in Ningbo, China commissioned by the Municipality of Florence, a 4 stars hotel in Taormina, along with LPM studio, the expansion of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, retail design for Salvatore Ferragamo in Asia and South America e retail design for Red Valentino in Asia, Europe and America. International competitions - the eco-sustainable school complex in Bagno a Ripoli (first prize), “A Square for Arezzo” an urban renovation of the area Cadorna (first prize), the Henan Publishing Company Headquarters in Zhengzhou, China (first prize), the New S.Maria Parish Complex in Castel di Lama - Ascoli Piceno (commendation), a new preschool complex in Sesto Fiorentino Florence (first prize) and Europan 11 (second prize).
