Federal Climate Change Department (Belgium)

www.climatechange.be

The Belgian Federal Climate Change Department plays a central, constructive and proactive role in international, European, national and federal policies. It is recognised for its competence in the relevant national and international forums. Its efforts are focused on the implementation of Belgium's international commitments in the context of the Paris Agreement and on the prevention of climate change in an environmentally friendly manner. The Department's activities are based on a long-term vision, in which the 3 pillars of sustainable development are taken into account in a balanced manner. To this end, the Service has mobilised the policy instruments available to the Federal Directorate-General for the Environment and pursues the integration of climate policy objectives in all relevant policy areas, at all levels and in full cooperation with all other actors. The Department's work is more generally in line with the "1 world, 1 health" objective of the Belgium Federal Public Service (FPS) Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment , which strives to put health and all its components at the center of its concerns and missions, whether it concerns human, animal or plant health, the health of the planet, or food matters : https://www.health.belgium.be/en/about-fps LinkedIn profile of the FPS Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment: https://www.linkedin.com/company/federal-public-service-health-food-chain-safety-and-environment/ Twitter account: - https://twitter.com/climate_be (EN) - https://twitter.com/klimaat_be (NL) - https://twitter.com/climat_be (FR)
