Project SteadFast; Feel It, Fight It, Wear It - Together The pain and emptiness often associated with poor mental health is hard to describe, the stigma and darkness felt isolates us from everything and everyone that matters to us and vice versa. Mental health awareness is continually improving, but remains taboo to many who struggle to understand what they cannot see. The mission of Project SteadFast is simply to be a committed and resolute symbol for those who support and those who fight mental health challenges. Our ambition is for Project SteadFast to be established as the sword and shield that we can wear every day at the gym, on the street and at home; our device to identify with our own and others’ ongoing mental health journey. The community for those affected by mental health exists, but remains disparate, splintered and only joined by stigma. No more. SteadFast sports and casual apparel will become the label we choose to be associated with our collective ongoing struggle. To wear SteadFast is to support mental health with pride. It was born out of the battles we feel and fight daily. Wearing it and turning the battle on its head. Bringing people and this community together in a unifying and constructive, positive way. One day we want to see SteadFast, like mental health; mainstream. Inclusive, accessible, for everyone. Most of all, we want to see a regard for mental health without stigma, without prejudice, without preconception. We want to do our bit to support and amplify that conversation. To show that mental health is not a limitation on who we are, but an opportunity to rediscover who we can be. #FIFIWI
