For decades, federal and state programs crafted in big cities have thrown money at issues which they truly do not understand, and it’s not working. The cavalry isn’t coming. So, it’s up to us to find and implement solutions to revitalize Rural America and reengage her citizens in the process. We believe that Rural America given the right resources can solve its own problems. That’s where the Rural America Initiative was born – out of frustration with the status quo and the lack of return on taxpayer investment to truly bring about substantive change. Our intentions are to positively influence the forces shaping Rural America with our advocacy efforts. Our mission is to set in motion actual change to improve the lives of Rural Americans. Our vision is a self-sustaining Rural America. Our purpose is to champion and protect the interests of Rural America through advocacy.
