The WACO Theater Center is a place “(W)here (A)rt (C)an (O)ccur”. Founded by Co-artistic Directors Mr. Richard Lawson and Ms. Tina Knowles Lawson, and located in the burgeoning North Hollywood Arts District of Los Angeles, WACO Theater Center (WACO, Where Art Can Occur) is one of the few Los Angeles cultural institutions dedicated to contemporary performing and visual art of the African Diaspora.
