A New York City teacher wrote "I must tell you that several students used the SQ when they went for job interviews & it made a great impression (in a few cases, it may have been the deciding factor in getting the job)." When shown a typical Social-Quotient report, 93% of 31 firms in Vallejo CA who hire students said they would you like to know a student's SQ score - "Would be great to have this information." 28% said they would consider higher starting pay for a student in the top 10-25% of SQ scores, with comments like "People who get along turn out to be our best sales people." It's a win-win for both employers and for job applicants who can show solid data on their social skills. Employers can urge their local schools to fund the cost of doing the SQ group surveys. Because the process can now be automated using smart phones, and the SQ organization is non-profit, the cost/ individual is minimal. The same Social Quotient surveys can also be used by students for college admissions.
