The problem The circular economy has been presented as a solution to our global waste crisis. However, there is a missing link in the supply chain of products that redistributes unwanted resources into material streams as valuable commodities. The solution Ephora Solutions is a hub in the logistical network of the circular economy. We are the missing link in the circular supply chain of materials that redistributes resources back into the production chain of products, which effectively adds value to material that was once considered 'waste'. We are supplied by importers, businesses, manufacturers, and more industry actors. Ephora Solutions The Dutch specialty coffee industry is our ‘proof of concept’. Our current business model is to sell reused, repurposed or recycled jute and hermetic plastic bag material to customers along the coffee supply chain, as well as provide a circular consultancy service for targeted material streams. Ephora Solutions has the potential to change an industry from linear to circular. Beginning with waste products from coffee trading, our solutions focused on reuse and upcycling will provide the blueprint for circular logistics for any material 'waste' stream.
