Ever since YASHIMA Export & Import Co., Ltd. was established in 1943, we have been consistently engaging in business as a specialized trading company involved in domestic sales as well as the export and import of various kinds of industrial machinery, industrial instruments, analytical instruments, etc. During that time, we have made continuous efforts to acquire high levels of technology and engineering by sending our engineering staffs overseas and calling on a large number of technical specialists from our overseas connections. We have also aimed at perfect performance in our operations and repair and after-services for machinery and instruments on the basis of our great store of accumulated experience and know-how. Moreover, we have made efforts to introduce new technologies to the industry, for which we have secured a high evaluation and the confidence of our customers. Recently, to respond to advances in industrial instruments, we have reinforced our System Engineering Department in order to assure consistent results. In the future, I will make every possible effort to strengthen the internal structure of our company so that it is capable of coping with economic circumstances which will become increasingly more complex, and the growing diversity of technical innovation. At the same time I pledge to devote myself to execution of our company business to fulfill the needs of our customers.
