Our aim is to focus on the methods and models to lower the carbon footprints of the AECO industry through new design and construction methods, materials and occupation scenarios. The buildings need to be design considering the possible future scenarios of the elements that form them, including how the elements can be reused, transformed and recycled. The research group focuses on the information technologies that enable the architects, engineers, shareholders and local authorities to design well-informed and resilient systems using the principles of circular economy.
