Camp Piankatank is a Christian summer camp and retreat center that offers activities such as a climbing wall, high and low ropes courses, archery, canoeing/kayaking, sailing, and much more all in a Christ-centered environment. If you're looking for a summer camp, then Camp Piankatank is a great choice. Your child can choose to be a part of the traditional summer camp track (Amazing Adventure), or they can choose one of our great specialty tracks (Sailing, Water Adventure, Fishing, Horse-back Riding, etc.). We keep our counselor to camper ratio low (max 1:8, often lower) so that your child will be well taken care of. All of our staff go through extensive interview training processes, and are selected to be strong, Christian role models. All of our counselors and program staff are at least college-age, and have been out of high school for at least one year (at least 18 years old). We provide an environment and activities that encourage physical, spiritual, social, and emotional growth in all of our campers. If you are looking for a retreat center, Camp Piankatank is a wonderful place. Located on the beautiful Piankatank River in Middlesex County, VA we offer a number of activities and a place to "get away." We can do as little or as much as you would like, from providing just lodging and meals to planning activities and sessions for your group. Our food is some of the best you'll ever have at any conference or retreat center. We have 180+ beds in dormitory-style lodging.
