The Higher Institute of Business Administration (HIBA) was established by decree no. /40/ dated 23/06/2001 and considered the first governmental university specialised in business management and administration in the Syrian Arab Republic. The institute is a scientific legitimate body, financially independent, related directly to the Minister of Higher Education and located in Damascus, Syria. HIBA aims to develop the human resources in the Syrian market by offering a range of pioneering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various majors of business management and administration.
