Hands Across Canberra is a new approach to philanthropy and giving in Canberra. It is being led by the Hands Across Canberra Board comprising a group of community, business and government leaders who are committed to improving the lives of the most vulnerable people in our community. Hands Across Canberra aims to: • Make more Canberrans aware of the need in our community • Encourage Canberrans to give more for fellow Canberrans • Make giving easier • Encourage skilled and qualified Canberrans to become involved with local community organisations • Help community organisations access support and increase their capability
