We started MAP Group to tackle this increasing global challenge, as we saw a lack of organized digital approach to fighting fraud. We’ve gathered a great team of AML-specialists, compliance experts, computer scientists and software engineers who use their skills, experiences and creativity to develop state-of-the art data driven fraud prevention software. Our solutions are based on collaboration, knowledge sharing and artificial intelligence. The founders of MAP Group created their initial ideas for the company based on their experiences as former financial crime investigators from the Copenhagen Police Department, NCIK (National Center for IT-related crime), working with a specific focus on IT-related financial crime, identity abuse and data fraud in the financial sector. Then, we created Negate. Negate makes it easy to establish a comprehensive profile of your client, a company, a collaborator or trading partner. As a SaaS solution and preventive screening tool, Negate is an API-based web application combining newly developed software, specialist experience and artificial intelligence to prevent and eventually predict patterns of criminal behavior that were previously unnoticed.
