Macclesfield Barnaby Festival Ltd is a Registered Charity (no 1151155) and a company limited by guarantee (no 08005512). MBF is about contemporary arts and culture, made with the community, led by a small part-time team and powered by volunteers. We want to inspire curiosity, debate and examine specific issues and stories. MBF is credited with having triggered a cultural renaissance in Macclesfield. We have a mixed income model with funds raised through ticket sales, sponsorship, trusts & foundations, generous individual philanthropy and some public funding. MBF wants to work with partners who share our vision of a town that pulses with life and ambition; a town where culture plays a pivotal part in significant regeneration and where local communitites are valued and their contributions showcased in the most creative way possible, no matter where they come from.
