The SMAPP LAB team develops a digitized trap family which monitor the pest insects and predict effectual several pest control points. The methods used nowadays do not allow farmers to guard efficient against these pests. In addition, due to climate change, the life cycles of different pests are changing, which cannot be traced without real-time data collection. SMAPP LAB gives decision support to the farmer by automated pest monitoring for crop protections. Based on our collected data our goal is to provide accurate predictions of the pest population. Therefore, the farmers control them efficient at the right time.
