Aspiring Leaders Pursuing Higher Achievement (ALPHA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Utah. Through personal mentorship programs and research-based curriculums, ALPHA empowers underserved students to pursue higher education and become engaged community leaders. ALPHA provides the following four services: -ACT preparation courses -1:1 mentoring -College transition and success assistance -Scholarship programs ALPHA focuses on providing resources largely inaccessible to many due to high cost or limited visibility. The students ALPHA volunteers work with are given practical knowledge, skills, and information to maximize their opportunities to get accepted into college and to be successful in college. ALPHA believes in bridging the opportunity gap; every student deserves equal access to higher education.
