New Day provides respite and vacations for individuals with developmental disabilities through our Camp New Day program. which provides seasonal vacation week(s) and weekends for developmentally delayed adults. Weekend vacations occur in the Fall and Sprint seasons, and a week long vacation occurs every Summer. The vacations provide indoor and outdoor recreational activities that cater to all levels of client functionality. Camp New Day is structured in a group environment to encourage participation and social interaction, with staff and other clients, but we recognize the need for and can provide one-on-one attention. Our staff is comprised of fun, creative and energetic high school, college, and adult counselors with multiple years of experience working with the developmentally delayed community and people of various physical handicaps. New Day Community operates under the auspices of Catholic Charities.
