My journey began with my birth at Queen of Angels Hospital in The City of Angels. Both my grandmother and great grandmother were accomplished concert pianists, and shared their passion for the piano with me. One of my fondest childhood memories is of playing the piano with actor Jack Lemmon on the set of "The Fortune Cookie", in which I played the role of Walter Matthau's daughter. I had dreamed of attending Juilliard School of Music but instead chose to focus on being a mother. For many years, the piano remained my private sanctuary, while raising my six incredible children! Since I was born with otosclerosis and am mostly deaf, I love to tell stories through my piano, it helps me connect with others. My recent album ANGELS AMONG US is a collection of 12 original solo piano songs. It is dedicated to my children and grandchildren who gifted me recording time for my birthday! As a voting member of the Recording Academy I have discovered many new friends in the world of music. I am filled with creative musical ideas and enjoy collaborations. As a longtime member of SAG/AFTRA I am able to perform on film or television as an actor and/or pianist!
