National Institute of Animal Sciences (NIAS) is a state-key research institute under Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development (MARD) of Vietnam initiated in 1959. NIAS is one of the oldest research Institute in Agricultural Sector in Vietnam. The Institue includes twelve research centers and research Departments across Vietnam. The main research areas of NIAS have been focusing on animal sciences, husbandry, waste management, climate changes and environmental sciences for livestock.
