www.nhml.comNew Hampshire Materials Laboratory was founded in 1979 by Fred Hochgraf and his wife. They recognized the need for a highly competent materials testing lab for the analysis of metals, ceramics and polymers. Our lab humbly began in a Durham, NH garage where we then moved into a Dover, New Hampshire site. More than 15 years ago, we moved to our current location in Somersworth, New Hampshire. In January 2008, a long time veteran, Tim Kenney our current CEO/President/Laboratory Director took over the New Hampshire Materials Laboratory. Each and every day he can be found working diligently in the materials arena with our other technicians. Alongside Tim Kenney, NHML has a team of seasoned staff members provide chemical testing and material testing services with special emphasis on: Failure Analysis Material Certification & Compliance New Product Testing Mechanical Properties Tensile & Compression Testing Heat Treat Problems & Verification Reverse Engineering Weld & Life Testing SEM & EDS They also perform customized tests to client specifications and industry standard testing protocols Analytical equipment includes the following: Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Fourier Transfer Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectroscopy (GC/MS) Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) Glow Discharge Spectrometer (GDS) Optical Microscopy Hardness and Microhardness Testers Mechanical Testings
