Bay Valves ApS
www.bayvalves.comBAY Valves is based in Nyborg, Denmark, close to the place of the invention of the High Velocity valve in 1971. Since, the area has established itself as a cargo tank ventilation expert community. The engineers at Bay Valves are a highly skilled group of fluid dynamics specialists. Our high Velocity valve HI Jet ISO II is absolutely non-hammering and performs opening and closing within a 2 seconds cycle from closed to open and closed again. Further, the valve is easily adjusted as valve opening pressure can be changed simply by turning a nut. This can even be done during operation. High Velocity valves are state-of-the-art in marine transport of crude oil and a range of liquid chemicals. Not least will the high safety standards of the High Velocity valves allow transport of chemical substances labelled as toxic under the IBC Code 2020 (effective from January, 2021). The new SuperSat is a gamechanger in sustainable shipping as the valve greatly reduces losses due to buildup and venting of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during marine crude oil transport. In other words, the SuperSat is both more economical – preventing loss of valuable cargo – and contributes to sustainability as harmful emissions are avoided. Other products for the marine and off-shore industry as well as the petrochemical industry like flame arresters, pressure-vacuum valves, detonation arresters etc. are available from stock.
