Highly Sprung Performance Co. is the UK's leading physical theatre company making work for and with children and young people. Theatre that empowers young people to make sense of themselves and the world around them, discovering their unique voice. With over 20 years award-winning experience, we take theatre beyond words, creating outdoor and indoor performances that tell stories of our histories and our futures primarily through movement, gesture and dance. Our work is playful and inventive, but also unashamedly provocative and poignant. We’re also talent developers, believing passionately that everyone has an innate ability to perform. We have developed the UK’s only Physical Theatre Fellowship programme for emerging artists. We run weekly performance workshops for children and young people, and countless projects in primary and secondary schools across the UK and internationally.
