We are Alabama Astrobotics, a University of Alabama student design team that competes in NASA's annual Lunabotics Competition held at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. In addition to designing, building, and testing our robot throughout the year, we coordinate and participate in several outreach efforts with the University of Alabama and Tuscaloosa community. Our goal is to give team members real-world experience and ignite a feeling of excitement for STEM careers within K-12 students along the way.
