A black box theatre consists (or experimental theatre) consists of a simple, somewhat unadorned performance space, usually a large square room with black walls and a flat floor. It is a relatively recent innovation in theatre. Boca Black Box Center for the Performing Arts was opened in August 2015, by Randy Singer, Larry Berfond and Scott Levine. Our purpose was to bring affordable entertainment in a comfortable NY style setting. We are located in Boca Raton, Florida. We are a 275 seat venue that offers a variety of entertainment. We are set up theater style (chairs facing the stage) with 6 VIP tables which can accommodate up to 8 guests.
