Assured Science, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is working to create a new system for scientific research. The current traditional system has become too dysfunctional by (1) wasting much of the available resources and opportunities, (2) excluding large numbers of people who are interested in research, and (3) producing data the majority of which are so idiosyncratic, un-validated, and un-integrated that they are essentially useless. Assured Science uses an ‘outside-of-the-box’ concept (patent pending) for the new system in which (1) all problems of the traditional system are mitigated or avoided; (2) small laboratories are empowered, (3) anyone interested in research is able to self-sustain a continuously successful career; (4) there is no limit to the number of scientists doing research; (5) all scientifically sound research projects are supported; (6) there is no distinction between basic and applied research; and (7) any individual or entity (company, organization, community, governmental agency) requiring research is able to generate or use highly robust, validated, integrated, and accurate data that are uniquely organized for easy study, valuation, and planning. Assured Science is designed to function in between funding agencies and research institutions with the purpose of dramatically increasing benefits to all parties involved: scientists, institutions, funding agencies, publishers, commercial companies, and society at large.
