Auro Chocolate is an internationally awarded fine Filipino tree-to-bar chocolate brand rooted in sustainability through direct-trade and crafted using only the best ingredients to create quality Filipino products. We go beyond “bean-to-bar” by involving ourselves in every step of the process. We work directly with over 5 cacao producing cooperatives and 50 individual farmers representing more than 1,000 families and 2,000 hectares of farm land. We offer constant support to our cacao partners by teaching organic farming and business management fundamentals. Our programs have empowered our farming partners to earn significantly more: 1,200 USD per hectare in 2015 > 3,800+ USD per hectare in 2018 We passionately craft all of our products from scratch at our modern factory in Calamba, Laguna that is equipped with the latest technologies and certifications (HACCP, HALAL). Our commitment to quality and innovation allows us to honor the distinctive flavors of our heirloom cacao and transform them into original recipes using time-honored techniques. Since we launched in May 2015, we have seen tremendous growth domestically and internationally, and even opened our first retail store in Tokyo. As we continue to grow, we want to continue elevating the art of cacao farming and chocolate making while creating greater social impact.
