Intercultura Romania is a not-for-profit organization that aims at delivering intercultural programs and content to the Romanian society, for students between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. We believe that intercultural learning, diversity, cultural awareness, combined with an entrepreneurial and engaged attitude are all key to development of sustainable cooperation, tolerance and peace. Intercultura Romania aspires to become one of the 60+ independent, non profit, globally spread AFS Intercultural Programs organizations, each with a network of volunteers and staffed office, providing intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.
