We are a specialized non-profit business development organization licensed by the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), supported by the City of Savannah and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to promote economic growth. We provide loans and technical assistance for new and existing small businesses in the City of Savannah, southeast Georgia and the Low Country of South Carolina. We offer a variety of Loan Programs for new and existing businesses in our service delivery area. We offer the following loan products in the City of Savannah, southeast Georgia and Low Country of South Carolina: • Financing for new and existing businesses through the SBA Section 7(A), 7(M) and 504 Loan Programs, the City of Savannah CDBG Revolving Loan Fund and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Loan Program. • Provision of debt and equity funds to new and existing businesses through the Savannah Regional Small Business Capital Fund. • Provision of management and technical assistance to small and medium size businesses in all phases of their development. • Dissemination of information and publications concerning local business issues and program services available to support small business growth. The Small Business Assistance Corporation has been in full operation since September 1989 and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that reflects the makeup and business development interest of our market area. We prioritize service to women and minority owned business owners throughout the City of Savannah and the region.
