Brewster's Brewing Co was set up by Sara Barton, a Masters graduate of the International School of Brewing and Distilling at Heriot Watt University. Sara was joined by her husband, Sean McArdle, in the brewery in 2001 Sara founded the Project Venus Brew collaborations, an opportunity for women brewers to network and raise their profile within and without the industry. She was presented with the British Guild of Beer Writers, Brewer of the Year Award in 2012.
